Foundation Portfolio

This is a coursework module which accounts for 50% of your AS marks. The OCR specification allows for a choice of set briefs. These are set tasks based around a specific medium. We have chosen to follow the set brief in Film. For this you will need to produce a short filmed sequence demonstrating skills in filming and editing and the titles and opening sequence of a new fiction film.

Over the course you will learn how to plan, film and edit using near industry standard video equipment. By Easter you will have produced planning and research materials, two video extracts, and an evaluation of your work. This will be marked by us and then submitted to OCR for moderation.

For details of each task please follow the link to the film production pages. Materials used for planning and evaluation can be found on the planning and research, and evaluation pages.
