Click on the links below to look at some exam papers from previous years. These will give you an idea about the sort of material you may be asked to study. At the end of each paper there is a mark scheme so that you can see what the examiner will be looking for from a top grade student:

It's here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The shiny all new GCSE Media Studies website. Brought to you by the people who gave you the Northallerton College Media Web.
On this site you will find all you need to follow the GCSE Media Studies course at Northallerton College. If you explore the content of this site it will help you achieve a decent grade but to really get the highest possible grades and qualify as Media Studies Genius you will need to follow the links and explore beyond this limited content. You'll also need to read newspapers, either hard copies or on line (we recommend the Guardian but there are others available - see the links on this page). Make sure that you watch plenty of TV (what a hardship!) and keep up to date with changes in the Media industry and in ways of delivering media content. Oh yes, you could also read some books (remember them!) from the resource centre but make sure you blow away the dust and cobwebs first!
